A lifelong Juneau resident, Jasz had her first story published when she was 10 years old in the Juneau Empire's Capital City Weekly. She started her career as a broadcast journalist at News of the North, where she worked for two years before joining the Juneau Empire. When she’s not writing the news, she’s writing for college or her second poetry collection.
