The Juneau-Douglas High School: Yadaa.at Kalé softball team opened its season winning two out of three games during a road trip to Ketchikan on Thursday and Friday.

Kayhi sophomore Peyton Nickich also went six innings, giving up 11 hits and the 10 runs, walking four and striking out two.
