Sunday, Sept. 6, is the last day to register to vote or update mailing addresses for this year’s municipal election on Oct. 6.

Beginning the week of Sept. 1, 2026, the City and Borough of Juneau Water Utility will begin flushing the water distribution system. Work is scheduled to begin in Douglas, then moving downtown and working north to the hospital, the Lemon Creek area, the Valley, Auke Bay and the Tee Harbor area, in that order.

The City and Borough of Juneau (CBJ) has launched a CBJ Public Notices & Announcements webpage, a new CBJ site where residents can access current meeting schedules, agendas, public hearing notices, and other information all in one location.
