Coast Guard seeks contractor for Storis homeport overhaul in Juneau

The U.S. Coast Guard is seeking a design-build contractor to redevelop the waterfront at Station Juneau to support the cutter Storis and visiting vessels operating in the Coast Guard Arctic District.

The project calls for a fixed wharf with one berth and a heavy-duty floating pier with two berths. The three-berth facility is intended to accommodate Storis, seagoing buoy tenders, national security cutters, offshore patrol cutters and Arctic security cutters, according to the statement of work posted with the contract opportunity.
