Marie Drake Planetarium: Open House

5:30-7 p.m.

1015 Glacier Ave.


Explore the planetarium's offerings with short full-dome movies and bring your astronomy questions. No sign-up required, suitable for all ages.

Hearthside Books: Local Author, Bridget Smith

4:30-6 p.m.

Author Bridget Smith will be signing her latest book "Godsend" as well as "Color in Rain Country: Growing Flowers in Southeastern Alaska."

Annie Kaill's: Celebrating the Life and Work of Tom Meyer

4:30-7:30 p.m.

124 Seward St.


Planned before his passing, this show will honor and celebrate Tom Meyer's life, his work and the ceramic legacy he leaves behind.

Juneau Woolies: Lee Huizinga

4:30-7 p.m.

217 Seward St.


Beadwork by Lee Huizinga will be on display.

Alaska Robotics + Amalga Distillery: Broken Bottle Prints Gallery Open + Circus

5-7 p.m.

134 N. Franklin St.


Alaska Robotics and Amalga Distillery will host the Broken Bottle Circus featuring a gallery opening and circus with live performances, music, magic tricks, carnival games, themed drinks, birth chart readings, and more. Rachel Levy of Broken Bottle Prints will display 14 new originals.

Devil's Club Brewing Company: Michelle Stewart/Colors of Summer

5-9 p.m.

100 N. Franklin St.


Michelle Stewart is a printmaker working out of her home studio on North Douglas. Raised in Anchorage, she developed an early love for the plants, animals, and landscapes that define life in Alaska. She continues to draw on those experiences in her printmaking today, and will show her collection "Colors of Summer."

Juneau Artist Gallery: Kelsey Hoke Martin - Artist behind K.Hoke Contemporary

4-7 p.m.

175 S. Franklin St.


K. Hoke Contemporary will show “A Foraging Fable,” a collection that consists of new original illustrations that depict mother animals and sea creatures forging with their babies, learning and loving the land with each other.

Kindred Post: Lybbie Brown

4:30-7 p.m.

145 S. Franklin St.


Inspired by folklore, fantasy, faerie tales, and the everyday magic of Southeast Alaska, Lybbie Brown's artwork celebrates imagination, inclusivity, body positivity, and the beautifully strange, blending woodland spirits, magical creatures, powerful feminine figures, and touches of eldritch horror. Original prints, stickers, and other artwork will be available for purchase.

The Bear's Lair: Colleran Art Show

4:30-7:30 p.m.

175 S. Franklin St., Ste. 109


Colleran Art will show new originals and merchandise. Live music and snacks will be available.

Treetop Tees: Free Pup cups and Dog bandanas

2-7 p.m.

110 N. Franklin St.


Treetop Tees will have free pup cups made of whipped cream and dog treats and Alaska flag dog bandanas for anyone who comes by the shop with their dog.
