JPD seeks help locating two juveniles, warns they may be armed

Two juveniles reported missing on Monday are being sought by the Juneau Police Department, with officials noting the teens may be in possession of a firearm and people should avoid contacting them.

Leotis R. Phillips, 15, was reported missing from his residence on Kanata Street at about 5:52 a.m. and Zoey L. Clark, 16, from her residence on Teal Street at about 8:49 a.m., according to a JPD information release. The release states Phillips and Clark are believed to be together.

"Because the juveniles may have access to a firearm, members of the public should not approach them or attempt to contact them," the release states. "Anyone who sees Leotis or Zoey should call 911 immediately and provide their location and direction of travel. Anyone with information about their whereabouts is asked to contact JPD at 907-586-0600. Anonymous tips can be made through JuneauCrimeLine."

The release describes Phillips as an Alaska Native male about 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighing between 140 and 160 pounds. He has long black hair, usually in a ponytail, and brown eyes. He typically wears a purple bandana around his neck, a black hooded sweatshirt and brown pants.

Clark is described as a white female about 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighing about 140 pounds.
