Peltola says ‘no thanks’ to Kamala Harris’s support

For former Representative Mary Peltola, a Democrat, to win the Senate race in Alaska this year, she would have to drastically outperform former Vice President Kamala Harris’s showing in the state in the 2024 presidential election.

So after Ms. Harris, who lost Alaska by 14 percentage points, signed a recent fundraising email from her PAC supporting Ms. Peltola, Republicans saw an opening for an attack — and pounced.
