Attempt to Serve

At 3:42 p.m. on Thursday, Madison Long, 19, was arrested on two Juneau Police Department warrants totaling $50 for failure to appear for a pretrial hearing on original charges of trespassing and violating conditions of release.


At 4:03 p.m. on Thursday, Anton Mach, 36, was arrested on five warrants totaling $1,300 and taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.


Indecent Exposure

At 8:34 p.m. on Thursday, James Carteeti, 45, was arrested on Front Street for disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and violating conditions of release. He was taken to LCCC.


Lost Property

At 2:53 p.m. on Thursday, a 46-year-old male reported two lost firearms on Sixth Street.


Motor Vehicle Collision Without Injury

At 11:03 p.m. on Thursday, Justyn Bagley, 20, was arrested on Glacier Highway for driving while intoxicated and driving without a license. He was taken to LCCC and the vehicle he was driving was impounded.


Search and Rescue

At 10:57 a.m. on Thursday, Alaska State Troopers reported that Alaska Wildlife Troopers were notified Wednesday about an adult male hiker who was lost and injured on Arctic Brotherhood Mountain in Skagway. The man left the main trail the afternoon before and became lost, but sheltered overnight. He injured his ankle when he resumed searching for the trail and called for help around 12:30 p.m. Search and rescue efforts were initiated by troopers, the Skagway Police Department and Skagway Fire Department. Upon reaching the man, searchers realized additional resources were needed to transport him off the mountain. A U.S. Coast Guard helicopter responded to the area around midnight on Thursday and transported the man to Bartlett Regional Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.


Sex Crime

At 2 p.m. on Thursday, JPD initiated a confidential investigation into possible sexual abuse of a minor.


Shoplifting

At 5:52 p.m. on Thursday, a 43-year-old male reported a 31-year-old female stole items from a store on Willoughby Avenue. Alcohol was a factor.


Traffic Stop

At 7:38 p.m. on Thursday, Pauine James, 40, was cited and released on Glaicer Highway for contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
