Attempt to Serve
At 10:39 p.m. on Thursday, JPD created a case for agency assist on Front Street.
Disturbance
At 1:37 p.m. on Thursday, JPD began an investigation into a report that a 17-year-old male damaged city property on Glacier Highway. He was released to a parent.
Foot Patrol
At 9:04 p.m. on Thursday, Joshua Amos, 48, was arrested on Glacier Highway on two outstanding JPD warrants totaling $100. He was taken to LCCC.
Harassment
At 4:20 p.m. on Thursday, JPD initiated a confidential report into possible threats on 4th Street.
Motor Vehicle Collision Without Injury
At 7:14 a.m. on Thursday, JPD responded to a report that a truck/trailer on Gold Street, driven by a 36-year-old male, struck a parked vehicle.
Search and Rescue
At 11:59 a.m. on Thursday, the Alaska State Troopers reported that on Aug. 14 they received a report of a hiker who was having a seizure on Sigugu Shaa mountain, near Hoonah. Capital City Fire/Rescue and Juneau Mountain Rescue responded. Medics were able to contact and stabilize the hiker, who was then transported via helicopter to a local hospital for treatment.
Suicidal Subject
At 6:43 p.m. on Thursday, JPD initiated a confidential report into a suicidal subject.
Suspicious Activity Vehicle Subject Device
At 6:05 a.m. on Thursday, JPD initiated an investigation into a possible attempted burglary on Douglas Highway.
Theft
At 12:48 a.m. on Thursday, a 48-year-old female reported the theft of a scooter on 4th Street.
