Attempt to Serve
At 1:23 p.m. on Thursday, Kyon Moore, 24, was arrested on Glacier Highway on a $100 warrant for violating conditions of release on an original charge of fourth-degree theft. He was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.
Disturbance
At 4 p.m. on Thursday, Destiny Starr, 29, was arrested on Willoughby Avenue for trespassing and violating conditions of release. She was taken to LCCC.
Motor Vehicle Collision With Injury
At 10:48 p.m. on Thursday, a 54-year-old female reported being struck by a vehicle on Concrete Way.
Motor Vehicle Collision Without Injury
At 9:12 p.m. on Thursday, Richard Svejkosky, 32, was cited and released on Goat Hill Road for driving under the influence after rolling her 2024 Ford Truck. Alcohol was a factor.
Search and Rescue
At 8:59 a.m. on Thursday, the Alaska State Troopers reported receiving a report at 5 p.m. Wednesday of an injured hiker on Heintzleman Ridge Trail. Juneau Mountain Rescue assisted in retrieving the hiker. The hiker’s injuries were minor, and medical treatment was declined.
Theft
At 4:32 p.m. on Thursday, the Juneau Police Department responded to a report of a theft of services on Shell Simmons Drive.
At 9:43 p.m. on Thursday, JPD created a case about an unspecified theft.
Trespassing
At 8:06 a.m. on Thursday, Oscar Snell, 54, was cited and released on Egan Drive for criminal trespassing.
