Animal Complaint

At 9:55 a.m. on Thursday, the Juneau Police Department received multiple complaints about a suspect shooting a bear on Willoughby Avenue. The investigation is continuing.

Attempt to Serve

At 1:26 p.m. on Thursday, Ilalio Talia, 35, was arrested on Alaway Avenue on a $1,500 warrant for a petition to revoke probation and a $5,000 warrant for vehicle theft. He was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

Sex Crime

At 4:17 p.m. on Thursday, the Juneau Police Department began a confidential investigation into a possible sex crime.
