Police blotter for June 28

Assault

At 10:50 a.m. on Sunday, a 28-year-old male reported being assaulted by a 33-year-old male on Marine Way.


At 2:51 p.m. on Sunday, the Juneau Police Department began an investigation into a report that a 43-year-old female stole from a 58-year-old female and assaulted a 64-year-old male on Allen Court. Alcohol was a factor.


Attempt to Serve

At 9:31 p.m. on Sunday, Frank Rogers, 33, was arrested on Auke Bay Harbor Road on two Alaska State Troopers warrants totalling $20,000 for violating conditions of release. He was also charged with resisting. He was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.


Disturbance

At 2:13 a.m. on Sunday, Devonte Taylor, 27, was arrested on Front Street for driving under the influence. He was taken to LCCC. Alcohol was a factor.


Domestic Dispute

At 4:47 p.m. on Sunday, Richard Ritter was arrested on Glacier Highway for domestic violence assault. He was taken to LCCC. Alcohol was a factor.


At 6:36 p.m. on Sunday, Abilove Sua, 26, was arrested on Riverwood drive for domestic violence assault and trespassing He was taken to LCCC. Domestic violence was a factor.


Runaway

At 4:24 p.m. on Sunday, JPD received a report of a 16-year-old female runaway on Mendenhall Mall Road.


Shoplifting

At 1:10 p.m. on Sunday, Gene Okitkun, 42, was cited and released for larceny on Willoughby Avenue. Alcohol was a factor.


Traffic Stop

At 9:18 a.m. on Sunday, Joseph Hostetler, 31, was cited and released on Jordan Avenue for driving while license revoked.


At 2:17 p.m. on Sunday, Judson Morgan, 40, was arrested on Sheiye Way for driving while license suspended, interfering, violating conditions of release and avoiding an ignition interlock device. He was taken to LCCC.
