Animal Complaint
At 10:04 a.m., the Juneau Police Department began an investigation into a report of animal cruelty on Rainbow Row.
Death Investigation
At 12:52 p.m. on Tuesday, JPD began an investigation into the death of a 22-year-old female. The circumstances do not appear to be suspicious in nature and next of kin has been notified.
Disturbance
At 9:20 p.m. on Tuesday, Gabriel Katzeek, 44, was arrested on Front Street for disorderly conduct. He was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center. Alcohol was a factor.
Foot Patrol
At 2:57 a.m. on Tuesday, Ronald Storey was arrested on Capital Avenue on a $500 Alaska State Troopers warrant. He was taken to LCCC.
Missing or RTL Person
At 11:01 a.m. on Tuesday, JPD received a report of a missing 38-year-old female.
At 6:26 p.m. on Tuesday, Louis Elmer Whittaker, 27, was cited and released on Marine Way for violating conditions of release. Alcohol was a factor.
Search and Rescue
At 3:10 p.m. on Tuesday, the Alaska State Troopers in Juneau reported that at about 8 a.m. June 20 AST received a report of a search and rescue. Michaela Chambers reported she was on a kayak trip with her friends and was currently suffering from heat stroke and could not keep down any fluids. The Haines Fire Department was able to boat to her location and provide transportation to the local clinic.
