Child Abuse or Neglect

At 7:17 p.m. on Tuesday, the Juneau Police Department initiated a confidential investigation involving a child.

Death Investigation

At 12:45 a.m. on Tuesday, JPD began an investigation into the death of an 89-year-old female. Foul play is not suspected.

At 5:27 a.m. on Tuesday, JPD responded to a report of the death of an 85-year-old male. The death is not considered suspicious and next of kin has been notified.

Disturbance

At 12:25 p.m. on Tuesday, Kathryn Grace Arnst, 44, was arrested on 3rd Street for criminal mischief. She was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

Out With Subject or Situation

At 3:16 p.m. on Tuesday, James Matthew Castro, 29, was arrested on Egan Drive for harassment and violating conditions of release. He was taken to LCCC.

At 9:35 p.m. on Tuesday, Liliana Demmert, 25, was arrested on Mendenhall Loop Road on a $1,000 Alaska State Troopers warrant for violating conditions of release on an original charge of assault. She was taken to LCCC.

Traffic Stop

At 12:50 p.m. on Tuesday, Dion McCabe, 27, was cited and released for driving while license revoked/suspended.

At 4:47 p.m. on Shawdai Roselynn M. Eberhardt, 34, was arrested for driving under the influence and violating conditions of release. She was taken to LCCC and the vehicle she was driving was impounded. Alcohol was a factor.
