Attempt to Serve
At 9:13 a.m. on Wednesday, Curtis Davis, 45, was arrested on Teal Street on two $25 warrants for failure to appear, and charged with violating conditions of release and interfering. He was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.
Death Investigation
At 5:06 p.m. on Wednesday, the Juneau Police Department began an investigation into the death of a 92-year-old female. The circumstances are not considered suspicious and next of kin has been notified.
Found Property
At 9:34 a.m. on Wednesday, a found cell phone was turned in to JPD for safekeeping.
Motor Vehicle Collision Without Injury
At 9:23 a.m. on Wednesday, a bus driven by a 33-year-old male struck a parked Honda CRV on 4th Street.
Sex Crime
At 1:38 p.m. on Wednesday, JPD began a confidential investigation into a possible sex crime.
Traffic Stop
At 3:44 p.m. on Wednesday, Phillip Abeyta, 32, was cited and released on Mendenhall Mall Road for driving while license revoked. The vehicle he was driving was impounded.
At 10:16 p.m. on Wednesday, Lyle Thomas Martin, 28, was arrested on Glacier Highway on a $250 Alaska State Troopers warrant. He was taken to LCCC.
