Police blotter for Sept. 17

Disabled Vehicle

At 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Mona LaVern Kookesh, 38, was arrested on a $75 warrant for failure to appear for a hearing on an original charge of trespassing. She was taken to LCCC.


Domestic Dispute

At 5:16 p.m. on Wednesday, Dirk Cooper, 58, was arrested on Glacier Highway for domestic violence assault. He was taken to LCCC. Alcohol was a factor.


Follow Up

At 11:55 a.m. on Wednesday, JPD created an incident for federal reporting purposes based on a previous theft.


Out With Subject or Situation

At 1:44 a.m. on Wednesday, Mary Nordgren, 35, was arrested on Douglas Highway on a $2,500 warrant for a petition to revoke probation on original charges of unauthorized use of a device/ID and second-degree theft.


Theft

At 12:51 p.m. on Wednesday, a 30-year-old female reported a 63-year-old male stole merchandise from a store on Glacier Highway.


Traffic Stop

At 12:40 a.m. on Wednesday, David Hayes, 49, was cited and released for driving without a license on Tongass Boulevard.


At 9:14 p.m. on Wednesday, Michael Maass, 37, was arrested on Glacier Highway on a $2,500 Alaska State Troopers warrant for a petition to revoke probation on two original counts of unauthorized use of an access device/ID and theft.


Trespassing

At 7:33 p.m. on Wednesday, Valerie Parkinson, 42, was cited and released for criminal trespassing on Willoughby Avenue.
