Assault
At 4:25 p.m. on Thursday, Joseph Pipenur, 33, was arrested on Glacier Highway for third-degree assault and violating conditions of release. He was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.
Burglary
At 12:47 p.m. on Thursday, a 50-year-male reported a burglary to a business on Point Lena Loop Road.
Death Investigation
At 10:24 a.m. on Thursday, JPD began an investigation into the death of 58-year-old male. The circumstances do not appear suspicious and next of kin has been notified.
Driving While Intoxicated
At 9:39 p.m. on Thursday, Lorretta Harris was arrested on Vanderbilt Hill Road for driving while intoxicated. She was taken to LCCC and the vehicle was impounded.
Motor Vehicle Collision Without Injury
At 10:31 a.m. on Thursday, a 2021 Tesla driven by a 75-year-old male and a 2015 Subaru driven by a 23-year-old female collided. A light pole was knocked over.
Runaway
At 3:13 a.m. on Thursday, JPD took a report of a 16-year-old runaway on Birch Lane. She was later located.
Shoplifting
At 12:59 p.m. on Thursday, a 24-year-old reported a 28-year-old female stole merchandise from a business on Glacier Highway.
