Death Investigation

At 8:44 a.m. on Sunday, the Juneau Police Department began an investigation into the death of a 56-year-old man. The circumstances are not considered suspicious. Alcohol was a factor.

Driving While Intoxicated

At 1:34 a.m. on Sunday, Darwin Mendez-Cando, 40, was arrested for driving while intoxicated on Mendenhall Loop Road. He was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.
