Two brothers arrested Friday morning are each facing multiple charges of alleged sexual abuse of underage family members over a period of years, according to police and court documents.

Patrick Lott, 36, is charged with alleged incidents involving an underage family member between 2017 and 2022, according to a state superior court indictment. Steven Lott, 35, is charged with alleged incidents involving an underage relative between 2008 and 2011 and again in 2017, and another underage relative sometime between 2017 and 2022, according to a separate indictment.

Both men were arraigned on Saturday and are scheduled for further proceedings at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, according to the Alaska Court system’s online database. Both are in custody at Lemon Creek Correctional Center. They are represented by the state Public Defender Agency, which could not be reached Sunday for comment.

The cases involve interviews of family members by Juneau Police Department officers that took place in 2017, 2022 and 2026.

The investigation against Patrick Lott was initiated in 2022 when a friend of the alleged victim told a parent about the alleged abuse, with the parent contacting police, according to a probable cause summary filed by prosecutors. The alleged victim did not disclose any abuse in an interview with police, but ceased living with Patrick Lott at that point.

However, in January of this year, the alleged victim said abuse occurred for several years that involved various forms of forcible sexual assault.

The six-count indictment on Oct. 29 against Patrick Lott includes three counts of first-degree sexual assault of a minor (an unclassified felony offense) and three counts of second-degree sexual assault of a minor (a class B felony offense).

The case against Steven Lott was initiated in 2017 when a teenage family member reported sexual abuse by him dating back to 2008, according to a probable cause summary in his case. The summary notes Steven Lott denied the accusations and an adult in the household stated they did not know if the accusations were true.

Further accusations against him were raised by the alleged victim of Patrick Lott who was interviewed in January of this year, who said Steven Lott also engaged in an incident of forcible sexual assault. Steven Lott denied the accusation, "but agreed that he did live in an RV across the street from Patrick Lott previously," according to the summary. Both men were arrested on Lemon Creek Road.

The four-count indictment on Oct. 29 against Steven Lott includes one count of first-degree sexual assault of a minor, two counts of second-degree sexual assault of a minor, and one count of third-degree sexual assault of a minor (a class C felony).

Neither defendant has a previous state felony conviction, according to the online court database.
