Back in June, Sen. Dan Sullivan’s campaign accused Mary Peltola and D.C. Democrats of recruiting Dan. J. Sullivan of Petersburg to run as a Republican for the U.S. Senate.

Sen. Dan Sullivan isn’t a member of the Senate Judiciary Committee. But if he were a true leader in combatting sexual assault and abuse, he would have immediately expressed his objections to Todd Blanche's nomination for attorney general. Other Republican senators would have joined him. And the judiciary committee would not have advanced the nomination for a vote by the full Senate.

Sen. Dan Sullivan said he “relentlessly pushed for” the emergency Clean Air Act waiver the Environmental Protection Agency granted last week. It will “unlock tens of thousands of gallons per day” in North Slope refining capacity. And “bring relief for Alaska’s families facing high energy costs.”
