Gordon Evans passed away on the 67th anniversary of Alaska Statehood, Jan. 3, 2026. A celebration of life will be held at the Hangar Ballroom (formerly Yancy Derringer's) from 2-5 pm on Monday, March 30.

Jeffery Lee Robertson (formerly Jeff Rounds) passed away in his Los Angeles cottage home, on the morning of Feb. 7, 2026, at the age of 79, following several years in decline with Alzheimer’s.

Roy Alan Box was born Feb. 2, 1935, in Wallace, Idaho, to Ralph Box and Bessie (Thompson) Box, and grew up in Wallace and Chehalis, Washington.

Andrew James Markovich, age 57, of Juneau, Alaska, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2026, at his residence.

Dr. carolyn Virden Brown of Juneau passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2026, at the Anchorage Pioneer Home. She was predeceased nine years earlier by her husband of 52 years, Dr. George W. Brown.
