‘Alternative public comment event’ for Cascade Point Ferry Terminal on Wednesday evening

Southeast Alaska Conservation Council announcement


An alternative public comment event about the proposed Cascade Point Ferry Terminal, hosted by the Southeast Alaska Conservation Council, is scheduled from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Juneau Arts and Culture Center.


The event will also be livesteamed on SEACC’s YouTube channel.


Scheduled panelists include SEACC staff, retired engineer Rich Moniak, naturalist Richard Carstensen, and Southeast Alaska Land Trust Executive Director Margaret Custer. Audience members can also provide input via recorded vox pop interviews, a petition, and comments that will be collected and delivered to the project managers.
