Juneau Crime Line is releasing its "June Crimes of the Month." People with information about these crimes can visit Juneau Crime Line's tip website at juneaucrimeline.com or P3Tips.com, or download the smartphone app P3Tips. Juneau Crime Line will pay a cash reward of up to $1,000 for tips providing results. People can choose to remain anonymous when using the online tips apps, or calling the Juneau Police Department at 907-586-0600.

On 05/08/26, the Juneau Police Department received a report of a theft in the parking lot of Pavitt’s gym. It was reported that (27) 2x12x12s and 4x4s treated lumber valued at $1,200 and tar paper was also stolen valued at $1,600.
Case: 2026-05170022
On 05/02/2026, at about 12:30 p.m., the Juneau Police Department received a report of a trespass of a residence in the 9900 block of Stephen Richards Drive. It was reported that the residence had been damaged to gain entry to the residence. The residence was unoccupied, and the investigation revealed the suspect/s had been inside the residence, as drug paraphernalia was located along with fresh shoe prints. The estimated damage to the property is estimated at $150.

On 04/27/26, the Juneau Police Department received a report that approximately 20 Alaska Native hand-carved masks had been stolen from the sidewalk in front of 207 S. Franklin Street. The masks were valued at approximately $4,000.
At the time of the theft, the masks were being unloaded and brought into the business. A witness reported seeing a male suspect loading the masks into a blue Toyota passenger car. The witness also observed a female passenger seated in the front seat of the vehicle.
The investigation revealed that the female passenger may go by the name Carly.

On 05/11/26, the Juneau Police Department received a report of a theft of a mini jeep taken from a residence on Pt. Lena Way. The mini jeep was reported to be valued at $2,500. The mini jeep is described to have a dark green hood compared to the remainder of the vehicle, as the hood was repainted.
