There's one week left to nominate individuals and businesses for the Juneau Chamber of Commerce's 2025 community awards: Citizen of the Year, Business of the Year, and Lifetime Achievement Award.
These honors recognize individuals and organizations that have made outstanding contributions to Juneau’s economic vitality, civic life, and overall community well-being.
The chamber has presented the awards since 1977. Recipients are chosen by a committee of chamber leaders and community representatives, and will be formally recognized at the chamber’s annual gala on Saturday, Oct. 11, at Centennial Hall.
Citizen of the Year honors a Juneau resident whose leadership, dedication and volunteerism have made a lasting positive impact on the community.
Business of the Year recognizes a business that demonstrates excellence in innovation, customer service and community involvement.
Lifetime Achievement Award celebrates an individual whose career and service reflect long-standing commitment and extraordinary contributions to Juneau.
Nominations are open until 5 p.m. Friday, Sept. 19, and may be submitted online at juneauchamber.com/awards or by contacting the chamber office.
