The Juneau Arts and Humanities Council (JAHC) Board of Directors has named Stacy Katasse as its new interim director.

Katasse has lived in Juneau for the past 17 years and has been actively involved in the local arts community in a wide variety of roles. She has worked with numerous artists and theater organizations as a stage manager, performer, producer, technician, costumer and consultant.
Most recently, Katasse served as an IT project manager with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Fisheries.
“I am excited to have the opportunity to bring together my passion for the arts with the leadership and organizational skills I’ve gained from working in professional office settings," Katasse said. "I look forward to engaging with the community and helping support staff while the JAHC is working on hiring an executive director."
"Stacy has a strong arts background as well as loads of experience with project management and communications in state and federal work in the past,” says Kathleen Harper, JAHC’s facilities director. “She's a great person to have on the team to help keep things running smoothly giving us the time to have a full and unrushed process while searching for and hiring our next executive director."
Katasse will serve as interim director until a new executive director is appointed.
