Bartlett Regional Hospital is pleased to announce the next round of Fireweed Award recipients for their exceptional care and service to the community. A total of 42 nominations were submitted this quarter, and four employees were randomly selected for hospital-wide recognition.

Heather Imel is a Same Day Surgery Nurse who was nominated by a patient’s family member for her professionalism, humor, and kindness. “Heather was absolutely incredible. She explained everything thoroughly and with patience. She is an amazing nurse, and I hope that everyone coming in for surgery get a nurse like Heather.”

Kyle Lewis is an IT Support Technician who was nominated by a colleague for his knowledge and people skills. “I was having some computer issues that are challenging and stressful to resolve. Kyle remained professional, helpful, kind, and patient with me – a really big thank you to Kyle.”

Carrie Kline is a Behavioral Health Clinician who was nominated by a patient for her knowledge and compassionate spirit. “The way she articulates the key points of her daily messages in therapy is so awesome. Her art projects are inspirational, unique, and leave one wanting the next session. She is a master.”

Megan Arsua is a Medical/Surgical Nurse who was nominated by a colleague for her excellent patient care, advocacy, and leadership. “Megan’s skills shine through all her interactions with both patients and staff, and I feel grateful to work with such a caring and kind team member. Even on the busiest of days, Megan always shows up both a patient-facing RN and an incredible leader.”

A celebration event was held on campus and each recipient received a recognition pin, a gift card courtesy of the BRH Foundation and a designated parking spot for the quarter.

Nominations for next quarter are currently being accepted and can be submitted here.

Continuing sponsorship for this award is provided by the BRH Foundation.
