Death notice: Duane Petersen

Duane Petersen, 92, passed peacefully with his wife of 71 years at his side on August 9, 2025. In Juneau, Duane worked for NMFS and Fish and Wildlife as a marine biologist for many years, retiring in 1998. He loved hunting, fishing, bear guiding, carpentry, and his family. Services were held at Nelson Family Mortuary in Provo, Utah.
