Death notice: Carl Rosier

Carl Rosier, former commissioner of the Alaska Department of Fish and Game and longtime Alaskan, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on March 16, 2026, in Portland, Oregon. He is survived by his four children and many grandkids. A graveside service will be held on Monday, March 23, and the family will post an obituary and information on a celebration of life at a later date.
