Missing Person       Case: 2026-02240030

Junior Siufanua was reported missing on Feb. 24, 2026. He was last seen on Feb. 9, 2026, at the Glory Hall shelter in Juneau; it is unknown what he was wearing. It has been reported that he is homeless and does not have a phone, vehicle, or access to money. He has been known to frequent the Glory Hall homeless shelter. Anyone who has contacted Junior Siufanua or has information regarding Junior Siufanua is asked to contact the Juneau Police Department at 907-586-0600 and reference case number 2026-02240030.

Theft       Case: 2026-07190027

Summary: On July 19, 2026, at approximately 12:12 p.m., JPD received a report that a boat had been stolen sometime between July 17 and July 18, 2026. The stolen boat is valued at approximately $18,000.

Later that same day, JPD was notified that the boat had been located at the Juneau Yacht Club. Although the vessel was recovered, several items were missing, including multiple fishing rods, a marine radio, and all the fuel had been drained from the boat.

Remember to help protect your property by removing valuables from your boat, securing electronics when possible, locking cabin compartments, and reporting any suspicious activity around harbor facilities immediately.

Vandalism         Case: 2026-07260501

On July 25, 2026, the Juneau Police Department received a report of a vehicle vandalized in the 5800 block of Churchill.

The reporting party advised that at approximately 11 p.m., an unknown individual was observed on home security cameras yelling profanities toward the residence and acting in a threatening manner. The following morning, the reporting party discovered that the hood of their vehicle had been intentionally dented. The damage is believed to have occurred during the night while the vehicle was parked outside.

If you have home security cameras or dash cameras in the area and have captured any suspicious activity around the time of the incident, please review your footage. Even small details—such as a person walking through the neighborhood, unusual vehicle traffic, or suspicious behavior—may assist investigators.

Vandalism       Case: 2026-06060502

July 18, 2026, the Juneau Police Department received a report of vandalism to a vehicle in the 1000 block of Coogan Drive.

The reporting party discovered that the rear driver's side window of their parked vehicle had been completely shattered. Broken glass was found throughout the interior of the vehicle and scattered across the hood, roof, and windshield. At this time, nothing appears to have been stolen from the vehicle.

The incident is believed to have occurred overnight while the vehicle was parked. A nearby vehicle parked in front of the damaged vehicle was not vandalized, although its owner later discovered pieces of glass on their vehicle after leaving the area. No witnesses have come forward, and no one reported hearing or seeing the vandalism occur.

The Juneau Police Department is asking anyone who may have been in the area during the evening of July 18 or early morning hours of July 19 to review any home security or dash camera footage for suspicious activity. Even seemingly minor details may help identify the person(s) responsible.
