Bartlett Regional Hospital (BRH) is pleased to announce the next round of Fireweed Award recipients for their exceptional care and service to the community. A total of 38 nominations were submitted this quarter, and four employees were randomly selected for hospital-wide recognition:
Keith Goering (gur-uhng) is a critical care nurse who was nominated by a patient's family for his respectful and attentive care of their father. "Keith has a level of comfort and respect that made me super appreciative of his work and handling my clearly sick father. My family and I are very appreciative of him, and we missed him on his days off! It takes one good nurse to make you feel better about the situation at hand. Keith's communication made me understand the severity of the situation, but helped us through it. He is a rock star and I loved the small chats we had throughout the long days."
Casey Barry is a pharmacy technician who was nominated by a colleague for her proactive nature and intuitiveness. "Casey sees a solution and puts it into action before those around her even notice a potential problem. I am constantly impressed with her limitless energy, unwavering willingness to help others, and the positive influence she has that extends well beyond the Pharmacy Department. Casey is a true treasure who makes all our work days better."
Ulynn Nadura (nuh-dura) is a certified nursing assistant at Wildflower Court who was nominated by a patient's daughter for her exceptional caregiving skills. "Ulynn is one of the many phenomenal CNAs at Wildflower Court. She takes excellent care of my mom. As a resident family member, I greatly appreciate Ulynn. She deserves to be recognized as one of the best at Wildflower Court."
Hailey Pusich (pew-sitch) is an obstetrics nurse who was nominated by a colleague for her excellent work ethic. "Hailey is always willing to help out and offer a hand. Her attention to detail and her experience make her a wonderful teammate at work."
A celebration event was held on campus, and each recipient received a recognition pin, a gift card courtesy of the BRH Foundation, and a designated parking spot for the quarter.
