Death notice: Gordon Evans

Gordon Evans, a longtime Juneau attorney, former member of the University of Alaska's Board of Regents, and supporter of the Juneau Bar Association, passed away peacefully on Jan. 3, 2026. He is survived by his wife Elizabeth, daughter Kari, son-in-law Ken, and son Erik (who served in the Juneau court clerk's office for about 30 years). The family will be publishing an obit and information on a memorial service later.
